Princeton Dungeons and Dragons Convention II

The Second Annual Princeton Dungeons and Dragons Convention was different from all others. Each GM wrote a self- contained module, complete with characters, and the players played a series of disconnected adventures. Since each module could be rerun from the beginning, scores could be assigned to each party and prizes were awarded.

The reaction was that the Superdungeon idea was far better, and we never tried anything like this again.

The rules for the con were the then-latest version of Howard’s rules, including the Parker non-quantized combat system (D20), and the use of prayer points.
