Aaron Dulgar's Scenario

Introduction #

My scenario was based around the quest to find the Horn of the Wild Hunt. A mystical magical item that has been used in years long past by the priests of Carrunos to call forth the Wild Hunt and lay waste to monster armies and cities alike. Recently a rumour of it has resurfaced, and Glorn, General to the Dark Lord, has sent out a party of monsters to locate it.

1st Run #

For the first adventure the party set off to find the Oracle, a supernatural being of great wisdom, so that they could as where the Horn currently is. After finding their way through tests of wisdom, dexterity, and courage they stood before the Oracle and received knowledge of the Horn's location. Also, the learned that a group of Priests that follow Carrunos and Danu had also been sent to retrieve the Horn and clashed with the monsters, being forced to flee.

2nd Run #

For the second run the party, armed with the location of the horn, set of to retrieve it. Upon locating the resting place of the horn, they were attacked by a group of priests and hounds, which the party systematically destroyed. They then entered a strange dungeon full of teleportation hallways, and wound their way through the maze until the came, very tired, to a carved set of double doors. They then bravely (foolish?) opened the doors and walked into an ambush set up by the guardians of the Horn. The monsters fought a hard-pressed battle in which their Naga died, but in the end they were victorious and retrieved the Horn. However, upon exiting the temple the were ambushed by yet another group of priests, and after several loosing rounds of combat, were forced to flee through a dimension door and fly back to Glorn with the Horn.
